Construction Details

The Sweet Truffle Tee is worked top-down beginning with the upper back. Then, the shoulders are picked up and knit, continuing to work the chest. Next, the lower body and hem are knit. The sleeves are worked by picking up sts at either side and knit in stockinette, ending with the cuffs. Lastly, the neckband is knit in twisted 1x1 rib.

Size Guide

This sweater is designed in nine sizes, XS - 5XL. It fits a bust circumference of:

  • 71-76, 81-86, 91.5-96.5, 101.5-106.5, 111.5-117, 122-127, 132-137, 142-147, 152-158 cm
  • 28-30, 32-34, 36- 38, 40-42, 44-46, 48-50, 52-54, 56-58, 60-62 in

Needles Required

  • 5mm (US 8) circular knitting needles in length 32"-40" & 16” for the sleeves
  • 4.5mm (US 7) circular knitting needles in length 32"-40" & 16” for the sleeves

Recommended Yarn

Lion Brand Skein Tones (100% acrylic, 170 m (185 yds)) per 3.5 oz in shade Truffle

Please Note: You can use any worsted-weight yarn, as long as you can meet gauge :)

Gauge

  • Stockinette: 14 sts x 20 rounds = 10 cm (4”) using 5 mm (US 8) needles 
  • Twisted Rib Trim: 17 sts x 21 rounds = 10 cm (4”) using 4.5 mm (US 7) needles
